Yoz Montana, a member of amigaimpact (a french amiga site) is making a design between A1200 and A4000 with a more actual design.

He's taking informations about  the faisability of his design.

The keyboard isn't glowing, it's because of the turquoise colour.

The final design will be with less sharp angles.

Looking good. His design could perhaps be something to consider for the Natami when the boards are ready.

What type of motherboards are the current design(s) made for? Is it just a prototype?

Yoz told that is for any kind of mother boards, at first he even though to put a 1200 mother board under the keyboard. I don't know more about what kind of mother boards in the big case.

For now i think it's only a 3D model, but he's studying about making a commercial product. He will tell more on Amigaimpact in the next week

BEAUTYFULL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE, AND TRADITIONAL KEYBOARD!!!!

Elegant black color case, with corner design....

Built in CD-drive in the keyboard?  Genius!!!!

Small additional informations :

The main idea of the author is to bring the USB and FireWire ports with a card reader and a DVD player near the keyboard.

It seems that design can still evolve.

The eternal problem is the cost of manufacturing.

For information, there is also this project EXTERNAL LINK

That looks amazing. I wish I could come up with stuff like that.

That second one though, hmm. Looks very uncomfortable to use.

The design (first one) looks very impressive. It also looks very expensive to manufacture - but I might be wrong :)

According to the author, the perceptive to have a standard case and keyboard for the community is possible.

And, as it has been reported by Golgoth 27, the author's studying about making a commercial product.

But a first manufacturer has not answered.

About the connection between the keyboard case (named Akeyboard, 450mm X 160mm X 33.5mm) and the main case (named UCA, acronym, Amiga Center Unit):
This is a cable (named LUA, acronym, Universal Amiga Link) containing  currently the required electrical distributions for a keyboard, USB and FireWire ports, a slim DVD recorder and optional hard disks.

This is something most beautiful that I've seen in last few years regarding Amiga.

I would like to see how it would look in white variant.

Natami in this would be killer machine.

Google Translate does a decent job with the Amiga Impact pages (or for convenience, if you install Chrome there's Google Translate integration so you only need to click a button to get the page translated)

The Akeyboard will have space for A600/1200 motherboards.

The Acase will fit to micro-ATX and ATX motherboards.

Maybe the NatAmi team could contact him to know if the motherboards could fit in the Akeyboard.

@Golgoth 27, by all means!

If natami is smaller, maybe it can be sold with PCI raiser and port connectors (adapters) which fit Akeyboard external connectors?

But, is this project near realization or this is only nice Photoshop playground?

As told in my second post, for now it's a 3D design, but Yoz think about to make the project commercially  and he's enquiring about the feasibility. Only time will tell if he succeeds.

But i agree that it's an ambitous project.

Golgoth has answered ("Only time will tell if he succeeds"), so we must wait and see.
