| Hello Natami fans. I have been following the development of the Natami for some time, although not being a hardware person, nor 680x0 assembly language programmer, most of this talk has gone over my head. But, I sense a real spirit and enthusiasm behind the project on a level at least the same as that behind the original Amiga and therefore, the Amiga does live on! I owned an Amiga 500 when they first came out and thought it was a brilliant machine. The company I worked for at the time offered their staff a chance to own a PC by lending money without interest. However, I didn't want one of those! I remember one of the sales people saying "But the Amiga is only a games machine". So I took my Amiga into work one day and showed them, and they were all amazed. The salesman said "What! You get all this as standard?" Yes I replied, proudly. Alas, I eventually ended up on PC's for my software career, but seeing this Natami machine is reminding me how much fun the Amiga was. I would surely like to investigate this all new fast Amiga machine. I can remember day dreaming about owning a faster Amiga, and with the Natami my wish could be granted. Just hope I can afford it when it's released! I have read that there will be an initial release and then further updates via firmware updates. What I'm not quite clear on is if I were to purchase the initial release, would this be with the new 68050 processor? Also, when the Natami team then develop the 68070 processor, would the initial Natami machines released be upgradeable to the newer processor? If so, this makes it a very attractive computer indeed!
