Multitouch Support

the macbook pro shows that multitouch is great,
do any amiga OS variants have updated support for these. (and also multi button mice, come to think of it)

IMO a keyboard + multitouch trackpad *with decent s/w setup* is actually superior to a mouse in the cases where you need to swap a lot, because you don't need to aim-precisely twice when shifting from keyboard to mouse to select something... and swipe gestures can be very rapid, and more intuitive than hotkeys.
(for cad where you're permanently on the pointing device, mouse wins)

also the trackpads are interesting for transition to touch screens.

there are some permutations that are still uncommon in UI's.. i've seen Ubuntus' setup where a 3 finger gesture moves windows without precise aiming (that would rock IMO).
the mac uses 4finger pinch for 'launchpad' but I think that would be better for move-and-resize window.
The sideways swipes for desktop switching work very well IMO, of course on the amiga perhaps you could make 'up/downswipes' page through the desktops in a manner more familiar to amigas . (the pages scrolling up over each other).
interesting how in OSX lion you can hold the screens halfway , wheres that was an actual feature on the amiga :)
