| DVIX/XVID videos are they played in software or hardware? Could version of the consumer Natami be made without AOS installed for people who have there own AOS license? how well the consumer version be sold (like Minimig without the case,or one with mini PCI slot/s)?

| As far as i know the Final NatAmi i am talking about the consumer version would have a Multi media suport unit in the for of the 3D Blitter. so i would asume that it would be in the Hardware, for the most part.as for sales, i dunno. A helping hand from hell, Marcel

| @Tom a Sparks, I kind of like the idea of them loading the boot ROM image and OS. But, I would like the choice of HD size and partition layout. Amikit includes many games, programs and other stuff, to many to number. I think you will like it. Chris

| @thread The consumer variety of the Natami (when and if it comes) will be a single chip. The boards that it goes on will likely be a wide variety of configurations. Whether XVid gets ported to it depends on the developers only. I think there is a version of XVid for AmigaOS 4 but not the classics because the 68k processors are too weak. The '070 will have to be done before development can even start on it.

if my project get of the ground, I may be buying 50, 100, or even 500 of the consumer version just the chip/circuit boardI am currently in contact with A inc about getting a site license I do not want to taking a licensed AOS that you could give some one else, the licensed AOS may be end up on ebay.... I have looked at Amikit website, some of the device that we are looking at using NatAmi for, Amikit will not be seen and well be wasted space Samuel D. Crow wrote:

Hi Tom,You have nothing to worry about at all with the licensing thing. If push comes to shove, and you can't get an agreement with Amiga Inc. then the Amiga Forever package is a 100% legitimate alternative. It's a license of AmigaOS from 1.0 to 3.1 (at least) and includes all ROMs as well. They have no way at all of stopping/standing in the way of NatAmi60/70/80/90/99 whatever! NatAmi, the greatest true Amiga ever made!
