Hi all,

Gunnar is travelling this week, so I'll give a short status report.

This week has been full on test case mania.

Several of the Team have been writing test cases for the instructions on the current 68050 softcore. As a result Jens and Gunnar have managed to fix at least 4 core bugs. 1 at least that was very obscure and hard to track down.

We have also been working on producing the Development Documentation, which will look very much like the classic Motorola style doco. (In keeping with tradition 8-)

We have also put together some Linux Based Virtual Box images containing many of the tools needed for running test-cases, building the Core, and visualizing how it runs.

Paul J, has also been working on a new version of minibench so we can run performance benchmarks test that actually mean something *-)

Basically - Things are developing Steam !!!!

Yay!

Clarification:
The bugs were fixed in the 68050 prototype.
The real 68050 is not finished and has never been released.
We are just doing work on the prototype.

In other news:
The entire team agreed to disagree about whether or not to be agreeing on the exact official name of the 68050.  All disagreements were made in an agreeable manner so no one was injured. :)
