| http://amigaworld.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=6305&start=40#84847 Here is a post about how to obtain exactly the same HW for a small fraction of the price they are asking. It's just readily available PC components in a case that everyone could buy.

| $345 for a bare PC? $2495 for the Amiga Mini? I've never paid that much for a computer in my life. I can get a six core, dd3 memory for $299. EXTERNAL LINK 01b-_-CatId_31_B69-0546 I'm not stupid when it comes to money but to each their own.

| I would not buy an Amiga compatible unless it had a 68k compatible processor. BUT, If the Apple Mac can go from 68k to PPC to X86 why can't the Amiga switch processors?

| Ask Hyperion why they haven't got a x86 version of AOS4.

| That speccy website is genius and it seems painfully close to the truth.

| Ok, first of all, this Intel spec bull***t made me bleed and cry. I cry, because it's my beloved Amiga name which is slapped on some Intel hardware which I prefer not to have in my otherwise perfect life. I admit, they (Commodore LLC) have beautiful Commodore Amiga brand appearance on their website, but I don't and I won't buy anything until they stop selling these PC's with Amiga logos shamefully slapped on. I just hope Natami team have some negotiating skills, when they release this much anticipated nemesis, and would have right to use such a rightful name as Commodore and/or Amiga on it.

| It reminds me of this: EXTERNAL LINK Just imagine it with the directors of Commodore USA, with them holding the Commodore and Amiga brands..

| Officially it is historic incorrect. Commodore did sell PC's but under it's own brand. The Amiga Brand was not a PC but something completely different.

"some Intel hardware"? Are you aware that Intel/AMD have the processor architecture that are the closest to 68k one can get nowadays? That Intel have the best performing processors available (with exception for some specialized tasks)? Complaining about Intel hardware is like complaining about winning the lottery... On topic: the only way "Commodore" "products" are relevant here is if someone wanted to put their Natami motherboard into that chassis.
