It's easily explainable....

They're hoarding the ONLY NatAmi in existence, it's easily an eBay initial listing price of $50,000!!!! ;-) :-DDD

Well, there are only Twelve Days of Christmas, so the song is over :)

I'm a little freaked.
Are they having problems?
Technical problems?
Health problems?
Why no more news?

Nice, but it is surprising to hang up this way without any explanation

Sell the first (development) Natami for more than the normal price when they go into production :) eBay it, along with the other prototypes. Someone will pay the price for it as its a collectors item :D

Jakob being a team member probably knows where they are and what they are doing.

But it would be nice to have a little info such as "Sorry people we have run into a little problem with Natami and need some time to fix it" or "we had some family problems that needed to be sorted but everyone is fine, back to you shortly"

Cheers from Oz

People, you not getting a new teaser post everyday does NOT mean that "the Natami suddenly got a problem". Jeez. Keep in mind that preparing a post like this might take the majority of the spare time one has during a day for working on this project.

Andre, I don't think you realise just what a monster (in a nice way) Natami has become. Some hang on every word trying to extract every little bit of info they can. Perhaps it is that some have been waiting for what seems an eternity for a new Ami and now it seems so close.
I also think I can speak on behalf of all the followers that we have all fallen in love with the new face of Natami, Annika, and we are perhaps a little concerned when she stops talking to us.

We want this to succeed and bring in a new era for the computing world but sometimes it seems the wait will never be over.
If you were following something new and exciting on a website and there were regular posts and then all of a sudden they stopped without notice; How would you feel?

Arh, leave them alone, poor guys are only trying to get on with devoloping the thing. They can't post news on stuff they havn't been able to get on with because they are posting on here. How would you feel if you were working on an important project and you has someone standing over your shoulder saying "Have you done it yet, have you, have you, is it broken, is it broken, it is is isn't it!" I can understand people are itching to get more info but have a little restraint and patience guys.

I'm afraid you'll have to wait your turn. I'm getting one for myself first :)

There's no news because someone on this forum went there and stole the NatAmi :)

Certainly there are no news because they are so busy discussing the terms with an investor who wants to mass produce thousands of consumer Natami and sell them for 199,- Euro each. :-D

For mass production sometimes $100 stand on this Site.

Anyway developing is better than showing pictures, at this time nothing new could showed cause there are no drivers for the new stuff.

My guess is that there's something in the sum and the synergy of the parts of the NatAmi that is so fast relative to the old chipset that it ripped a boing ball shaped black hole in spacetime and pulled the whole family into a parallel reality where the Amiga is the dominant system. :o)

I've been watching the NatAmi forum almost daily since just before Gunnar and his Wife's youngest child was born, and I wanted to be able to post with my 4000, but it's having some problems and has been completely torn down for a while, so for now my Mac Powerbook G4 will do (before that I was just rather too nervous to say anything). My A4K was progressively getting harder to boot and stay running until about 2 months ago (after being fine for 6 or 7 years since the current install of 3.9), when it got so bad that it wouldn't stay up for more than a few minutes without crashing and/or getting weird PFS 2 errors. I doubt that it's the OS or the two hard drives themselves, it's probably something with either the power supply, the accelerator (MK-III 060/50, 128M) or the motherboard (I've got 3 4000 motherboards, two are B, one of which I was using, now just gets to the boot sequence unofficial color purple screen, and doesn't poll the floppy, the other B just seems dead), and one untested-by-me D that I won on Ebay years ago and forgot about until I found it recently, but I'm kind of afraid to try it, lest I somehow break it too. :o( I just found my two WarpEngine 040/40 cards, so I can maybe try one of those on it first. It must be a phase of the moon kind of thing, because my next door neighbor's Hades 060/60 running Mint is also effectively dead at the moment, and so we're both going into respective favorite system withdrawal.

For us users with literally *dying* systems, the NatAmi and the Firebee are like a dream come true, so both groups are understandably champing at the bit a little. :o) I'll certainly try to have my 4K back up and running before the NatAmi is out, as money is tight and I wouldn't be able to get one for a while anyway. I even want to upgrade it somewhat to keep me going until I get my paws on an MX and I can hit the afterburners. ;o)

@pakrat:

I Agree, my A1200T with blizz PPC died quite some times in the past few years and now for some odd reason i cannot get it to working order again, so natami would be indeed a dream come true!
