Finally - it took very long - but now the boards are here.

I uploaded a few images of an assembled one in the hardware section.

Very great achievement and thanks for your work !

I'm glad to see images at last...

BTW, I do not see battery onboard?

Very nice photos and very clean layout.

If we do a list of what on it, left to right, backplane to front, we have ?
  - Ethernet + 2 USB, 4 audio CINCH ?? (yes i'm wondering), DVI, PS2 Keyboard and mouse, serial connector.
  - ten pin riser (what for ?),thirteen pin reiser (15Khz video ?), "orontel" chip (ramdac ?), 1 group of 12 holes (what for ?)
  - PCI slot, 2 groups of 8 holes and 1 group of ten holes (what for ?), realtek ethernet chip (with the "crab" on it), Cyclone IV FPGA (SAGA+68050 ?) with memory chips underneath, CPU riser for 68060 cards
  - PCI "Nec" Chip controller, thirteen pin riser (// port or ?), max II FPGA for I/O ?,
  - power supply connector and 1 group of 26 holes above (// port or ?) , CF connector and 1 group of holes for not soldered IDE connector below ?, 2 joystick riser and 1 group of holes for not soldered FD connector ?

  Main question are:
  - why are they 4 audio cinch ?
  - USB keyboard and mouse are natively working on natami (i do not have any PS2 device any more).
  - CF is the default option, or you will solder IDE connector ?
If we want extra soldered connectors, we have to do this or they will be options when ordering (i'm not realy an handywork guy, and will be afraid to fry the MB when soldering, even if i've already done soldering time to time).

Thanks in advance for your answers.

chronel is DVI+VGA interface chip.
NEC chip is IMHO USB interface that hangs on PCI bus.
standard IDE port is simply not soldered, but header seems to be here
what i don't know is what chip is "PCI Gayle IDE interface" described in overview.

This is handled by the Altera MAX II CPLD device.

Yes. And...?
The pictures are from the very first assembled board. The board is about to be tested. So it is sufficient to mount the battery when the RTC is responding properly.

How many mx boards do you plan to assemble in this batch?

@Niclas: Cool!

  ?-2: REQ,GNT,CLK and IDSEL of PCI 2&3
?-3: IRQ signals for PCI 2&3

That means you produce a special Natami Riser Card and we not need to find one self? Or are that for Debug?

Whats about CF, we have to build a a CF->IDE adapter, are Master/Slave connected there? Means 4 IDE drives possible?

And all required parts are soldered, does it run already or need the LX Core modified for a Bootup?

Didn't you noticed it's different hardware ? :)
different memory bus=different memory controller
different IDE
IMHO a bit different video generator
the first thing means it will need some FPGA design rework.

So fused with "bitshifter" interface for floppies, joy, keyboard etc.

Nice!

Wow, it looks awesome. It looks so real, I could almost taste it. (quick - somebody tell me what this thing tastes like ;)

The CF under the CPU seems a bit odd. I would have thought the CF slot would face outward so a case could be designed with a slot to insert the CF. (not that it's a big deal though)
