| The CD32 didn't allow a keyboard, |
Of course it does. Plus it allows VGA output, even though there is no VGA port (much like the Natami would work on DVI with a DVI->VGA adaptator)...Anyway, I don't think you may compare the PCB size of today versus previous ones... Or you may as well argue than the MacMini is way better than this one, regarding the size+number of ports...

| Guys... I'm happy to join you in that historic goal! Congratulation for your good job and, do you read all those guys? Well we'll surely buy at least on of these boards!!! Please, don't let that project die like Boxer did, please continue and bring to life that great machine! Then I have some ideas on how to pack it with original cases like was our good Amiga. Keep up the good work, I REALLY can't wait to have one of this on my desk!

| @Gabriele Are you talking about original Commodore cases? Because next month I'll be showing the case I have developed for the Natami and SAM boards! For those of you who don't know me... EXTERNAL LINK On the site there are links to my youtube videos as well. Enjoy! Keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming announcement! ;-)

| @Leo Thanks Leo. I have a CD32 (unused as dog chewed joypad cable; Amiga Forever works instead) but I never realised it had a keyboard plug. It just amazes me how the components keep getting smaller all the time.

| I see the screenshot and see its a cyclone3. But what version of cyclone 3 it is ?.And how many logic eleemts are free with current version ? there is liboil this lib support most used functions for CPU to speedup video and audio a lot.I get the idea if there are enough logic elements are free, there can mp3 and video lots faster show than any 68050 or 67070 CPU or other 1 GHZ CPU can do i think, when chamge the needed liboil rotines to use the FPGA.The function can then add as a complex blitter. because of the many hardware multiplier the cyclone 3 have.and 18*18 bit with 36 bit result is enough for audio or video EXTERNAL LINK the cyclone 3 can see here. | Gz. !! nice work this first board ! Finaly a development what shows that Amiga/Natami is NOT death !EXTERNAL LINK Also the dutch Amiga scene is showing his interest in this latest news what is verry good for the Natami. The reactions from people on the dutch forum are good. People who left the Amiga scene but stil are interested or lost faith a bit ,now hear or see from Amiga/Natami believers that there can be a future for the original Amiga concept with working old software ! Keep up the good work well done ,this makes me verry happy.

| Congratulations for one more time. That's really a dream come true. Till the next one. May I have it for a Christmas present this year? Keep up with the magnificent work. Thanks again. Too bad that J.M. is not with us. But I'm sure that he's watching.

| > Test access to the FPGA chain works now. Level shifting is a chapter of its own. > SyncZorro also works. For testing that I used the further modified PCI interface from the c-one testboard. The CPU Clock is still the master clock for the bus. This means some changes still need to be done for SyncZorro. But the good thing is that I can "see" the other side from the serial monitor program running on the CPU. Now I can try to generate a real DDR2 Memory-access.

Thomas, You have gotten very close with your initial design. No easy feat I'm sure. A job very well done. I remain very curious how the DDR2 turns out. Thank you for the update on your progress. Regards, Michael
